- Andrew presents How to Become Great in any Field - Success Secrets Revealed posted at Personal Hack, saying, "I’ve made it a habit to study great people, and have been doing it now for several years. While there is no mathematical equation that guarantees greatness, there are many commonalities that are shared by great people. These commonalities don’t just apply to a particular set of fields or expertise. Interestingly if you take a person who is very successful in one field, and put him into another one usually they’ll be able to achieve a very similar level of success in the new field. Of course it might take them a year or two or even more to catch up and learn the new field. Yet after they catch up on the basic fundamentals of that new field, they usually start progressing and succeeding in it at a very fast rate."

What’s the difference? How can you know which one is in charge? What are their characteristics? Since I prefer peace to mayhem and contentment to perpetual, blind striving, my goal is to keep soul in the driver’s seat as often as possible. Your inner voice is really a lot like a bad journalist -- reporting what it decides is true without bothering to check the facts. Challenge yourself to do the research by asking the other person or people for their input about what troubles you. It calls for personal courage, but it can be done with honor and respect. When you "hear" such a fear or concern three times, ask questions. Start by saying something like, I'm saying this stuff to myself and I think you could clarify it for me... since it is about you and I want to know if I am nuts or not.
When walking down the street, remind yourself to love people, not pick on them. Assigns light consequences to yourself if you starts to fret, replacing worries with positive thoughts. "This is the most important work you can do. "It's like building the muscle of the mind. If your thoughts run you and you don't manage them it is a bit like allowing your child to watch television all the time. There would be no destruction of the rainforest without all the world participating in its consumer patterns. This is not simply the link of cause and effect; it is a deeper connection on the level of being. You are the environment of the world, you are the disparity of wealth, and you are both the joys and pains that exist in you and without you. Invite this in; it is the gateway to living a live filled with peace."
- Tupelo Kenyon presents Consciously Programming Your Subconscious Mind Before Sleep posted at Tupelo Kenyon, saying, "We are all continuously feeding our minds with the words we read, the audio we hear, and the images we see on the screen. The ideas we expose our minds to immediately before going to sleep are powerful. They sink deep into our subconscious mind as we ease into the alpha state of consciousness, as part of the sleep cycle. Here, the subconscious mind reviews the ideas over and over, not because they are the most important, but simply because they were the most recent. For a life of excellence, you must be the proactive, deliberate, aware, and conscious gatekeeper and feed your mind on purpose. hi, and thanks for including my post about the remembrance day songs.
re the links: i think what happens is that if it's a visited link, it fades into your regular text colour, so if it's your own post and you've visited it recently, it LOOKS like there is no link.
Thanks for including my article and for hosting this carnival - much appreciated!
Thanks so much for adding my post to your carnival and congratulations on making the front page of BlogCarnival.com!
